Brewerytown is booming.

Named for the large number of breweries that once populated the area, Brewerytown is a neighborhood located in Lower North Philadelphia.  The area extends from the Schuylkill River to 25th Street and from Cecil B Moore Avenue to Parish Street. Its proximity to both I-76 and Kelly Drive makes it hugely desirable for just about everyone.  The Art Museum, Fairmount Park’s Lemon Hill, and the Philadelphia Zoo are all within walking distance. 

Brewerytown is now primarily residential with growing commercial corridors along Girard Ave and along 31st Street.   There are renovations and construction happening on almost every block in the neighborhood.

Within Brewerytown, the hottest corridor is now the 31st Street Corridor, which has seen hundreds of new apartments, an 8,000 sf co-working space, and over 50,000 square feet of new commercial space. 3029 Glenwood is one block north of OTTO Condominiums, the Poth Brewery project, and 3120 West Jefferson.   Glenwood Flats will anchor the northern end of this corridor.
